This is ideal for Preschool Circle time, as it takes up minimal space and allows the teacher to sit on the floor beside it, at the same level as the children--which is best practice. I'm on my second one in 12 years--they really hold up well and are very durable. They are the perfect size for a square, 6-pocket hanging chart and the magnetic write and wipe surface is very versatile. My only issue is the lack of wheels: I want to utilize both sides often during a Circle Time and need to stand up and lift the heavy thing to turn it around--have tried attaching sliding coasters, but it's still awkward. Wheels please, Lakeshore!

Really sturdy and beautiful quality!

This easel was exactly what I was expecting. I took the measurement from the discription and mapped it out to see that it was the size I was needing/wanting. I use it several times a day. In the morning during calendar time we do tallies on it and make word families, etc. It also has the magnet coins on it to discuss coins. The other side my students use during centers and free-time. It is absolutely perfect!! My only regret is not having it 3 years ago when I started at this school!!

I thought the product would be smaller and less bulky for circle time.

I cannot wait for the kids to see this new product. I know that it will be great for teaching sight words, letters and even for sentence strips.

I own my own daycare/preschool, this easel is nice and low to the ground so teaching is easy for circle time. It's has a white board on both sides. It's very sturdy and impossible to tip over. It's worth every penny. I've had if for 2 years now and it's the best purchase I have made for my daycare!
