The bar clips to keep the easel open both broke on this. One broke within the first year, and the second broke after 3 years.

This Easel is wonderful for our morning meeting times. I use it for everything from writing announcements to parents on, dramatic play signs, introduce new words, flannel stories and so much more. Its one of those pieces of classroom equipment that you cannot live without.

I bought this easel about 10 years ago. A few years later I moved into a smaller classroom and ended up giving it away. Biggest mistake!! I decided to buy it again last week. It may be pricey, but nothing on the market today compares to this easel. It is worth every cent. Also, when I bought the last one, I had to attach the casters. This time around, I literally lifted it out of the box and stood it up. Everything was put together. Casters were already attached. Didn't need one tool. If you're thinking about purchasing this easel, go for it.

I had a white board & flannel board that were very old. They were hard to get rid of, but I knew I needed new. This teaching easel is wonderful. I is very large, with plenty of white board space & a beautiful flannel board on the other side. The wheels lock, which is a bonus. Love it.

I am a public librarian and this flannelboard is wonderful! It's sturdy enough that my storytime attendees can interact with it without my fear of it tipping. I also like the fact that the flannel is blue - a nice neutral color. And the space is really large. The white board/magnetic side adds another layer of versatility. My only quibble is that I wish it had a shelf - there's ample space in the triangle area, but no.

I bought 2 easels to donate to our grandsons' second and fourth grade classrooms. The teachers were overjoyed, and showed us immediately what they could do. We received thank you notes from the teachers and students with pictures showing some of their creative work hanging on the boards. The teachers said they could never have been able to buy them for their classes and were very grateful for this donation.

Had middle school helpers put it together :-) They basically just had to take it out of the box!

This one is nice because it's very compact. We wish that there was a shelf underneath for storage, but it also works to place a basket there. Nice LARGE surface.
