keeping organize

I've made my own center cards (pictures from around the room) and have used this chart to design an easy rotation system. My classroom runs smoothly as the children transition from one activity to another. They read the chart and know exactly where to be. It helps that we also have a classroom carpet with the same colors.

I have this product and use it in my 1st grade classroom. It is helpful but I have had to make other center cards for other things that are done during center time. Students in the classroom enjoy using this tool. Pros: The organization of it is helpful. Cons: Need to have more than 6 color cards for student names.

I have used this management chart for several years in my 1st and 2nd grade classroom. It saved my life with managing my stations! It comes with a wide variety of cards to help give you ideas on what centers to do. Having such a large variety also gives you the flexibilty to change the centers every few weeks. I recommended this product to a co-worker and she went out and bought it instantly. She now uses it daily as well! I recommend laminating the cards to last longer and using a Visa-V marker instead of a dry erase marker to prevent smudging.
