this is exactly like that old school magna doodle from the 90s. i got one on sale and my toddler loved it so much that at the next sale, i bought another to keep in the car. now at 7 years old, both the home and car ones still get a ton of use. having one in the car is great screen free entertainment for long or short rides, waiting rooms, and restaurants. i even find myself drawing on it from time to time. the sale price is the cheapest ive seen a version of this product at any store as well

My 4 year old class loved using the Magic Boards during small group and in the Reading/Writing Center. They are the perfect size for letter, number and sight word practice.

I have bought several of these for gifts and as a back-up toy (2-6 yrs).. The kids instantly know how to use it and love going from one adult to another to have them draw something for them.

Works well

I skipped the First Magic Board version and this one works just fine for the toddlers in my program. I especially love being able to offer a mess-free pre-writing activity.

This item is well made and the children love using it in the classroom. I had to buy another one this year to put in the math area, because they wanted to write their numbers with it. It is great watching them write/draw and erase and start again. It holds up well and it has a great screen.
