While clipboards are never safe when used alone by 4-5 years old and younger, (pinching factor) but when monitored, the clipboards provide a solid surface for working anywhere. I’ve been very happy with the light weight (just right) as well as the retro colors (fun!). Great addition to any kindergarten -3 rd grade classrooms.

My students love using these clipboards in small groups and with first graders, let's just saythey can be pretty tough on materials. I would definitely recommend these for any classroom. Well worth the money.

We use these at our school for the parents to sing at the entrance. The clip is a little loose but they look nice and are sturdy enough.

I love these clipboards. My classroom came with wooden ones that have been drawn on from previous students and a couple cracked plastic clipboards. I knew this was an expense worth updating. The calm colors are so pleasing and they are sturdy. These will work great for flexible seating with the daily 5 Work on Writing. I bought these for the Children's Dept. programming sign up sheets. They are colorful and attract parents to the table. I like that they have extra space around the board, so the paper doesn't go all the way to the edge. The clip is not as strong as my regular clipboards, so that is why I gave it 3 stars. It holds the paper, but I notice the paper can easily be pulled out.
