This timer is easy to use, easy to see, and has been a great addition to teaching juniors and seniors. The end beep is loud but not obnoxious and the magnets that hold it to the board are strong enough I’m not at all worried it with either fall or get bumped down. I like it enough I’ve recommended it to two other teachers already.

In the past three years, I have bought two of these clocks. They are amazing but do not last more than a year. For the price I paid, they should last longer. I’ve made sure to store them back in their cases to keep them safe for the next year, but they still seem to stop working. This year, I bought the 8-inch one to see if it’s better built, but I’m very disappointed that it didn’t work this year.

I caved and got this timer. Students can see it anywhere in the classroom. It is easy to use. I can use it to pace my day. It is worth every penny.

I was introduced to the time timer in a class where I was learning strategies to help students with ADHD manage executive function issues. This is a tool that works great for neurotypical and neurodiverse students. It’s big enough for everyone to see and the alarm is loud without being annoying or startling. It really helps all the students in my classroom manage their time better and spend more time on task. It’s a worthwhile investment; get it!

I have been putting off this purchase for years and just stuck with my tiny cheap digital timer, but this year, I decided to jump in and make the purchase - I’m SO GLAD I did. My students can easily see how much time they have left for each activity they’re doing on the large display and the fact that it’s made with heavy duty magnets makes it stick to my whiteboard easily. I’m so glad I finally bought this timer because I can’t see going a day without using it!

My class really enjoyed having a visual timer

I love having this timer in my classroom. I tell the students they have a certain amount of time in centers or to work on activities and that when the clock is all white and the timer goes off, times up and time to clean-up and move to the next activity.

I bought one of these ten years ago as a para in a summer school program for children with autism. It was so effective in keeping kids on task and managing expectations of behavior that I used it all throughout my special ed teaching experience. When I transferred into general ed last year, I assumed I wouldn't need it anymore and donated it to an ABA center - big mistake! I recently purchased this improved version and I can't recommend it enough. The few complaints I had about the original product have been completely remedied! I love that it now has a lever for me/the students to turn the red disc. I also love that the red disc is protected behind a case now. It looks so much cleaner! It mounts right on my magnetic whiteboard so it doesn't take up space on a table. I cant recommend this enough for classroom /time management!

We gave this timer as a gift to my child’s teacher. The class absolutely loves it. Every time they are working on an assignment multiple students ask for the timer to be set. The kids love the timer shows how much time is left. The teacher loves how big it is, how easy it is to use and it’s large enough everyone in the classroom can see it. It’s a big win for everyone!

I love our jumbo time timer in our Pre-K classroom. It is a great visual for the children. It cuts down on melt downs when it is time to clean up from center time. The children are reminded to look at the timer to see how much center time is remaining before clean up. The timer is set to show the children when lunch time will be and I don't have to answer the question... as much. :-)

Its huge and great for the classroom!

We have this hanging in our hallway by our primary bathroom and kids’ bedrooms. We use it in the morning so our kids (4, 4, 7) can see how much time they have before they leave for school. We also use it while preparing for bedtime or any other change in activity. It’s been great for them to be able to see the passage of time and learn to monitor their own schedules more. I do less reminding- which we all appreciate. I can see using this as they age. It’s not just for little kids. It is big. About a 12” square. We have hung it up using 3M Command hooks which seems to work well. It does have a stand, but if you don’t want other people changing the setting I would recommend hanging it up.
