I purchased this timer in store because it was on the sale end cap. I had been desperately looking for something that would interest my toddler, even the tiniest bit, in washing his hands. Anything at all. He hated washing his hands and we struggled so much with it! He'd have a tantrum at just the mere mention of washing hands. When I stumbled upon this in store I decided to just try it. I am so so glad I did. It plays music. You just wave your hand in front of it and the timer will go. It also indicates at what point in the hand washing process you should be in at what time (soap dispensing, hand washing, and rinsing). My toddler now adores the time when he gets to wash his hands because of this simple musical, touchless timer. Whoever created this- I love you.
