Perfect kits for experimenting with different boat designs. We had fun decorating the boats and then testing their seaworthiness in a metal tub.

Students had a great time making these. They used trial and error to create balance for their boats. They also experimented with wind to get them going. Very fun and engaging.

We enjoyed building these boats very much. Great talks about which design might work best. Should include paint and stickers to decorate as that was a big aspect for both the 6 year old as well as the 8 year old.

My grandchildren created beautiful boats to sail in both stream and street gutter water. They were able to adjust the parts of the boat to fit each body of water. There were hours of construction and trial and error here. A great gift in the time of hunkering down.

These were okay, but I felt lacking in creativity and the kids (ages 6-9) seemed a bit bored with them.
