We use it for kids from Kinder to 5th grade and this set can be used for lessons in all the levels. The cards are easy to follow and kids enjoy working with it.

Our 9 year old has been enjoying building with this. He likes playing with it but he did say the pieces were kind of hard to put together (compared to other building toys).

This was a great set requested by my 7 year old 2nd grader. We decided to go up a level since he is interested in STEM building projects hoping to get more life out of the toy. The front side of the cards give the beginning of the build and then present a challenge. The back side of the card offers one possible solution to the challenge. I would have given 5 stars if not for the frustration of the building pieces. If your child is used to the leading brand building blocks that stick very securely like magic, they might find this toy a bit frustrating as my son does because they do not stick together as well. A lesson in perseverance and patience perhaps.

The blocks are difficult to attach to the gray base. The project cards are great, but given the price, I was expecting a better made product.

My students absolutely love creating these mini STEM projects... They are very challenging but helps to create an environment of TEAM WORK...

I have this kit in my 5th-6th grade STEM center. The students enjoy the card challenges and have had a good time building a variety of items. It's hard to keep 5th and 6th interested in something--it can't be too hard or seem too childish. This kit is a good kit. My only complaint is the the bricks seem a bit hard to connect at times, especially to the plate. I also would like to see add ons available, such as additional challenge cards and a second plate.
