I love this puzzle! My 3 year old granddaughter and I put it together and she had the best time! Never too young to learn the states!! Very colorful and just an all around winner!! I highly recommend this as a teaching tool and just a fun puzzle!

Not a great educational tool

Puzzles like this have to potential to be a great educational tool. However, this puzzle takes some questionable liberties when outlining states, particularly in the North East. States shapes are vaguely accurate, at best. Some states have been reshaped entirely. Where is Cape Cod? Very difficult to use as an educational tool when accuracy is an afterthought.

A Teaching Tool

This particular puzzle has sparked some interest in the various states. It is a super teaching tool and helps kids with their learning about the United States and the differences between the states both geographically and economically as well as identification via the different shapes and sizes. Would definitely recommend.

Great Hands-On Learning Activity

This puzzle is such great quality, and it's visually appealing with vibrant colors. My 7-year old/ 2nd grader enjoyed learning the states through this puzzle while also learning the song with her class. I loved it so much that I also purchased 4 more as Christmas gifts for her friends/ classmates.

So fun, excellent learning tool!

I was amazed by how well my child took to this puzzle. Absolutely loves naming the states, talking about where they go and all the state specific photo details inbetween. Great amount of pieces for a 6 year old!
