Our 8 year old grandson loved this for his homeschool. Another Lakeshore hit!!

I'm sick over the fact that I paid good money for this product. The map is made of paper...paper! My son will have it ruined by Christmas afternoon, I imagine. The voice is very loud, unnatural, and robotic, as another reviewer stated. I am debating whether to eat the cost of returning this subpar item to at least recoup some of my costs. (Because the item will not be considered damaged, I will be forced to pay a return fee.) I've ordered many items from this store -- this product is a failure.

My children, ranging from 5 to almost 10, enjoy this toy so much. It’s a great way to learn facts, and they really love the Race to the White House game. We’re all learning new information just by listening to it! I also appreciate that the screen isn’t electronic, giving my children a nice break from screens.

Seemed fun but my kid found it boring.

This has helped my son learn the capitals and fun facts about the USA. It keeps him entertained for a long time!

The map was wrinkled and bubbled in several areas. Not good quality.

My daughter is 11 years old and she really likes it. Her favorite part is playing race to the white house. It's very informative. I got it for her for xmas and it was her favorite gift. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a volume adjuster since it is a little loud. The voice is not annoying or monotone, even tho other reviews said it was.

My 3 children like to play with their USA maps in the car; they all enjoy gaining 'delegates' by playing the USA quiz game in addition to learning where each state is and what their capital cities are.

This is a great tool. It is interactive and challenges you to remember the information you are learning. This is a great way to reinforce things we are covering in our homeschool.

I am a Rewards member and was given Rewards points for my review, but all opinions are my own. I know several people did not like that it wasn't a screen, but that's what I liked about it. Too many kids are constantly entertained by phones and iPads. I like that this is simpler and can be an interactive way to learn a variety of information without it being sensory overload. It's a little too advanced for my 4 1/2 year old, but it will grow with her.

The robotic voice can be a little noisy and annoying (at least to the adults) but my kids like to pick this up and poke around, learning lots of state names, capitols, nicknames, etc while playing.

For $30, I was expecting a well made toy that made learning about the United States fun. Instead, it feels very cheaply made and sounds like a toy I would have played with during the 80s. I like the premise of learning fun facts about the US, but I think the execution is lacking, especially for the price.
