This was a sale so I grabbed it! My K kiddos loves sensory sand, so we use this every Friday afternoon for Fun Friday.

This kinetic sand is the best I've ever purchased. The children love the way it feels on their hands and it is easy for them to create things using the molds. The preschool team loves it because it's super easy to clean up! Lakeshore products are the best! I recommend their merchandise to fellow teachers as well as parents.

I prefer the mold and play sensory sand to traditional kinetic sand because it's so easy to clean up. My son prefers this kind as well so it's a win-win!

This sand is great ! The kids play with it for a very long time. I do however wish Lakeshore offered more sand molds like for instance a turtle or a star etc....Something to note tho, the sand makes the floor a bit slippery after sweeping it up.

just as good as name brand kenetic sand, not messy and so much fun to play with. if it starts to dry out, give it a couple sprays with a water filled sprag bottle (a little gors a long way) and knead the water into the sand until its back to the right consistency

I used about 15 lbs for a medium sand tray for my therapy office and it has been a hit! I also have traditional white sand and kinematic beach sand in different trays - but the Lakeshore sand is in a class of its own!
