Explore & Match Sensory Hedgehog
Overall Rating: 4.3 out of 57out of 8 reviewers would recommend this product to a friend.Needs a storage bag.
The children and I like this product, but I get tired of finding 5he pieces as the toddlers drop them throughout the classroom. It would have been a nice touch to include a cloth bag in which the pieces could be stored.
Disappointed in this Product
Not at all what I expected. Very disappointing. Just another toy with small items to be thrown around the room.
Quiet sensory time
This little hedgehog has immediate appeal for toddlers. They can match the colors, peer through many of the translucent tubes, and feel the variety of textures. Great fun!

Great sensory puzzle toy
My little one enjoyed this sensory toy! It’s a great toy to target a variety of things. You can touch the different textures and talk about it (rough/smooth, bumpy), as well as work on matching colors.
great sensory experiences
Love this puzzle and so do my littles!!!! what a great way to explore and learn vocabulary from colors to how the pieces feel.
Sensory Toy
My class loves to learn through touching and feeling. This hedgehog is a perfect addition to my 5 senses unit in my preschool classroom!

Sensory
I love it. I have an Autistic son and the hedgehogs sensory pieces are the perfect size to work his gross motor skills. He loves to look through the green and yellow lenses. its a great quality too

Not as good as it could be
1. Of all the colors on the spectrum, they had only 9 to pick, so why put two similar blues and two similar greens? 18 mo old is learning colors and stumbles on those blues/greens every time and while yes, with age, she will eventually get it, but what happens now is she gets to that point and just walks away. What's wrong with a brown, an orange, a dark grey or black? So many options not taken advantage of. 2. The textures are underwhelming. Too many are silicone with just a different pattern. Why couldn't they have used a fur, velour, velvet, sandpaper, a leather, marble? 3.None of the bases have texture, fyi. (there is no photo of the base completely uncovered on the web page), so they're using color to match only...hence importance of colors. 4. I knew the little discs would be small, but in person, they still surprised me at how small. I'll be returning, and getting the one by guidecraft I saw at the local Children's museum. It has few of the failures this one has. Bigger, textures on both base and discs, colors unique. It's more $$, but should last a very long time.
