All pieces work reasonable well. The microscope was immediately used to look at everything from hair to leaves, encouraging inquiry!

We used the microscope to look at a piece of quartz one of my students brought back from vacation and my Pre-Kers loved it. They've used the telescope to watch the older kids during recess and have asked repeatedly to take the binoculars outside. If you need to add something to your science center, these pieces are fun additions!

My kids don’t go to daycare, so it is essential to ensure they have enough educational toys to play with. My five-year-old was disappointed with the telescope. I wish I had bought the other one on the website. She went out at night to view the stars and got upset because she said she couldn’t see anything. It was still great for her first telescope, though.

Our 5 year old great granddaughter was thrilled with these child friendly gifts. We also purchased a magnifying glass. She uses these every day, and calls to tell me what new things she has done each day!

This set seems much more appropriate for 3 years and under. The items don't function the way I would hope, and are hard to use (the microscope) and I was overall disappointed in these items. They seem more for imaginary play than anything even remotely functional. My kids got frustrated by the telescope and microscope pretty much instantly. The binoculars were the best thing in this set.

Early Christmas with our grandchildren and our 4 yrs old absolutely loves these hands-on learning tools. Now he and his older brother can looks at bugs togrther!!

These are nice and good quality but my kids lost interest very quickly.
