Great concept with no instructions or coverslip

I bought these blank slides when we also bought an intro microscope and some prepared slides at Lakeshore. These are blank slides, but there is no coverslip, and no instructions on how to prepare the slide. At first I thought that maybe we'd need to use 2 of the slides with the sample between them, but that does not fit under the microscope lens (too thick). You don't want to put the sample on the top of the slide without a cover slip under the lens, as the lens could get dirty. I also tried putting some plastic wrap over, but that was also too thick. I would not recommend this product.
