I gave my son this toy for his birthday a couple years ago, when he turned 8. He has continued to play with it at various times and enjoys showing it to his friends in the backyard when they come over.

My 5 year old really wanted this rocket, looking at the reviews I was not sure whether this rocket works but bought it anyways. As soon as we reached home, my 8 year old and 5 year old started experimenting with it - without water, with water filled with different heights and soon discovered that the rocket does not work if it is fully filled with water and goes to different heights based on the amount of water in it. It has kept them engaged for a complete evening until it was time to sleep. We will see it how it does with durability, but as a starting point it is something that keeps kids active as well as thinking!

This is my go to birthday gift. No one has it, it isn't another toy to add inside and keeps them active

The rocket just wouldn't take off, we struggled with it for 3 days and then threw it away

When I ordered this, I thought the product was large enough for tweens and teens. Unfortunately, it's not. This product is more suitable for 4 - 6 year olds. And the box label has My First Rocket on it, which makes me think it's for younger age groups. This was suppose to be Christmas gifts. So disappointing.

Bought for grandson's birthday. Item was not as expected. The rocket was a disappointment. It was far from an exciting experience.

Returning the rocket due to crack on main component within 12 launches and soft landings. Great concept but the plastic is not durable at all. I hope this helps.

This rocket really flies if you can get the setting right. It's helpful to build grit since you have to try over and over to make it right

Awesome and simple. My son enjoyed it a lot. Please be aware of the height the rocket can reach. Ours ended over the roof.
