It was fun and my daughter (5) was excited to do the experiments. Many of them had to do with color mixing which she already knew so I would recommend this for kids a little younger like 3.5-4. Overall though she still had a lot of fun with it.

My 6 year old son was so excited to get this because he really likes to do hands on experiments. I think the construction was sturdy and the tubes are the perfect size for small hands but I think he is just too old at 6 to really find any enjoyment in this kit. We have passed it on to a younger cousin who is 4 and she really enjoys it.

My 8 year old granddaughter and her teacher mom are loving working on the experiments together!!

Great for your budding scientist. Need a lab coat with it and safety glasses. Great enjoyment.
