Excellent product
Sprinkling iron filings on paper is a common way to reveal the magnetic field. It can be messy and cumbersome for demonstrations. This screen solves that problem elegantly. I have worked with another similar screen and the Wonder Window surpasses it easily. This screen is large and accommodates longer bar magnets. The best feature is that the back is bright white for excellent visibility of field lines. It is surrounded with a silicon seal for easy handling and safety around younger children.
No, a magnet is not included. That is stated clearly in the description. The magnetic wand pictured would be a poor choice for demonstrations. A three inch or somewhat larger bar magnet is perfect. It is fun! Highly recommended.

Great Hands on learning
We love our magnetic field wonder window. There is not a day that a child is not using it when it is in our science center. They love to see the different things that it can do!

No Magnets Provided
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my disabled son. It was disappointing to realize that the item does not come with the magnet shown in the photo. While it is cool to flip the board and see the movement, this isn't nearly as fun without a magnet to play with. The photo seems misleading.
