My daughter can do a lot of these mini experiments on her own. I love the cards, the box, and the card holder. It keeps everything organized and easy to use. This really feels like a complete set and you don't need to add anything.

All three of my grandkids loved this. The 9 year old could understand the concepts, the 6 year old loved going around seeing what the magnet could pick up, and the 4 year old loved the magic disk on the pole. He pulls it out to play with even when I am not there doing science with him. I highly recommend this set. Plus it gives you specific ideas for things to try. Be prepared though. Little magnet balls everywhere!

We use this as part of our STEM station. We added a few books, and we had the great start for our magnet unit. Each day we would place a few cards out with the materials for the children to conduct the listed experiment.

Love this set! I use to teach preschool and the kids loved it- now ai use it in my babysitting adventures. Obviously, not for littles, 3 and under, And because they are magnets and some smaller pieces, you should probably supervise or separate small pieces, so they don't put in mouth but it is great!

Who doesn't love magnets? This kit was a favorite center this year. In fact, it was so popular that I chose to keep it out for choice time for the remainder of the year after our forces and motion unit ended in February. It was very easy to extend, and required no prep or set up. The challenge cards are my favorite part. It makes for a truly independent and engaging experience. I would recommend laminating the cards, if you'd like them to last even longer. Kiddos can be rough putting everything back on the tub.

This set is amazing, great for learning and play, and the quality excellent. The first day I brought it out my kids and I worked on a couple of cards then tried to understand why magnets behave that way. We even designed experiments to test their hypotheses. After that, they continued to play for hours. After a few weeks, they still love this kit as much as ever and repeat activities on the cards. What a fun way to introduce magnets and the scientific process.

Magnets are very strong. Children enjoy looking at the cards and try to duplicate.
