The instructions were very easy to understand. The caterpillars came fast and we are loving watching them grow.

We bought this for our daughter and now give as gifts during summer months. Ordering the caterpillars is seamless.

My children loved this! So easy and low maintenance for adults, even if insects aren’t your favorite. We will definitely be doing this each year.

The children really enjoy watching the caterpillars grow, they are in the Pupa stage right at this time. They are SO EXCITED to see them turn into butterflies.

This is a nice and cued nursery but to me it is a little bit overpriced. Could find some similar butterfly nurseries for cheaper price.

Easy to setup and get ready. Thorough instructions to help in the growth. This came with many more caterpillars than the coupon included said. The company has fast response times to order more when needed. The net can wear down or get holes in it over time but it has a durable well designed frame for holding everything in place. My 8 year old loved watching their growth and feeding them.

Bought two of these for grandchildren’s birthday’s coming up in June. Mom’s are very excited about them but kids have not seen them yet. Everything I have bought from Lakeshore has been a hit. I am sure this will be too. Appears to be very good quality.

Overall, this is a great product. We received 7 caterpillars and all made it to the butterfly stage! One had deformed wings unfortunately but he seemed to do just fine hanging out in his habitat... until he escaped... 3 times! Therein lies the problem with this habitat. The strings to tie it at the top leave holes, and the netting at the top tore down the seams a few inches. I sewed up the seams that were ripping apart and tried to stick some tissues in the holes so no more would escape. Alas, Houdini managed to escape one final time and we haven't seen him since. Im thinking it was his deformed wings that allowed him to escape through the holes, but just wanted to give my feedback on the design. A zipper would be more effective. So now we have 6 butterflies and they have laid a bunch of eggs! Its too cold to release them right now. Hoping the eggs hatch and we can start the cycle again! Fun!

This was a great experience. Our 3 year olds loved it! We were able to release 7 beautiful butterflies- would definitely do this again!

This was given to my Fairy God Daughter, who is nine year olds. She loves it. We are planning to buy more.
