Love it!

My toddler is obsessed with it, and the quality is great! I think I have just as much fun with it as her!

A little disappointed in this one. The organs don’t stay in, which causes frustration. I ended up keeping them in a plastic tote beside the model. Also hard to put together without a lot of patience. They just pop back out.

Disappointed

I purchased the take-apart human body for my daughter who homeschools. It was used as a teaching tool not a toy. So it was gently used. She loved it and so did her children. But, the plastic dowels that hold the pieces in place started to break off after a year of use. Unfortunately, I waited a year and a half before reporting the problem to Lakeshore. They would not replace it for me. I am disappointed with the quality of the product and also that Lakeshore would not stand behind their product.

The pieces are not easy to assemble and fall out as soon as you stand the torso up. Also does not have the thyroid and pancreas which was disappointing to my grandson.

While anatomically correct, it was frustrating because the lungs wouldn't stay in place. Even so, my granddaughter enjoyed taking off and putting the body parts back together.

Human body game

For the money I wish it had more question/answer cards. But my 5 year old picked this out in the store and had to have it. He loves learning about the human body. Great for a starter model!

Great Teaching Tool!

I was on thr fence for awhile about paying the $ for this guy, but so glad I did. As a nurse, this model is on point, very educational, and makes teaching about the body and the systems so much easier! I use it for both my 8 and 5 year old. It can be a little challenging to put the organs back together, but it is a great visual and hands on model! My kids LOVE when I get him out!

Sturdy and stimulating!

My primary task is SPED teaching. This product is great for teaching anatomy to dyslexic or ADHD affected students as well as those on the spectrum. The interactive, explorative tactile experience makes for excitement about learning. Excitement about learning releases dopamine in the human brain, which boosts recall of information later. A must have for SPED students in my opinion.

Great for many ages

The recommended age rage is older but even my 5 year old loves this. He is very interested in the human body so this is a great hands in and visual learning resource.

Expected more organs

It’s a nice torso for kids, but it only shows a handful of organs. Also, they fall out again if you don’t tape them a little.

Human Body Unit Success

My kids named the model Barry so that they could call it Barry The Body, hahaha. It was a huge hit with them. Every system we studied, they wanted to refer back to the model. I like how some of the organs also split in half so you could take a look inside of them.
