My grandsons ages 5 and 3.5 just loved this Bug Vacuum. We caught bugs inside and outside, and the chamber with the magnifying glass was perfect for their little curious minds. Then we could safely and easily release the bugs to rejoin their friends. Once opened the bug vacuum was a constant companion! Just a warning: get one for each of the kids because they will want their own. After a long weekend of bug sucking the 'try me' batteries were still working!

I purchased two of the big vacuums for my three year old twin nieces. They are fascinated by bugs and this is the perfect learning tool for them. They thoroughly enjoy their bug hunts. Highly recommend this gadget if your child is in to bugs.

Great for catching and releasing bugs without harming them. Wish it had a little more power for larger insects, but good enough most of the time. Being able to look at the bugs with the magnifier is a nice feature.

The grandkids had so much fun with this. They are really into bugs and played with this off and on the whole week they were here. Actually, I even used it to get rid of some horseflies that got into the house. The kids like examining them under the magnifying glass.

My grandkids love to collect bugs. This piece is perfect for them to do so.

Only draw back was that we didn't explain to him that you cant use it in water! So, we did have to order a 2nd one and I even enjoy looking at the bugs. Highly recommend to anyone.

My grandsons and granddaughter love being outside all the time and they love all animals including bugs and worms. They are having so much fun with these. It will even suck up an earth worm. I also got them a-z bug book and a backyard adventure book to look up what they are catching.

Vacuum is kind of weak, even for sucking up lady bugs.
