We don’t have much of a yard so we need outdoor things that don’t require a lot of space (can’t play sports outside). This is perfect. My kids like bugs and things a fun way to observe them and create a little habitat opposed to a jar where they can’t move much.

My twin 5 year olds love this bug city. They go in the yard, find bugs, put them in with leaves and water and food. It is a fantastic tool for exploring the nature around them.

My daughter loves to catch all kinds of insects and reptiles and observeing them.

The kids love it. They get the insects and put them inside the bug city, we added leaves, little flowers. Very lovely, they are having a blast. 4 stars because it is not easy to clean.

This is great for little ones who love bugs. We have put in quite a few rolly pollies and lady bugs. The only thing I dont like is that the connectors arent very tight and they come apart easily when moving the habitat around.

The tubes fall off easily, allowing the bugs to escape, so don't use it inside the house! The concept of observing different kinds of bugs is fascinating, but they die quickly. It is not compatible with the bug vacuum...this makes transferring the bugs very hard. Nonetheless, it can be a fun toy for kids if they have some parental help.

My 9 year old nephew loves bugs so when I saw this, I knew it was for him. I gave it to him for his birthday and he LOVED it. Went outside immediately to start catching bugs. If your child/relative is a bug lover, they will enjoy this.
