We loved this center! It was SUPER easy to set up. The students enjoyed looking at the pictures and categorizing them! It served as a great opportunity to ask "what other animals have fur" or "what other animals have a tail". This activity spurred lots of questions about why some animals have fur and others don't. I love that they could self check their answers. Genius puzzle design!!

Lakeshore has great instant learning centers. This is one of my favorites. I teach kindergarten with special needs students mainstreamed to me each day. The learning center captures the children's interest and they focus for the duration of the lesson. I like to use this particular learning center at the beginning of the year when I'm doing assessments on the students I will be working with. It's a nice treat for them during the school day.

I'm a special education teacher. This is a really good learning center. The kids love it. I use it at our kidney shaped table with 4 students. Students smile when I tell them we are playing this game. They have fun while learning.

This is a really great idea from Lakeshore! I have several of these learning centers and I knew this one would good too. It's actually better than I expected. My students are highly motivated by this center. It combines fun with learning and I like that.

This is another great learning center activity. Of all the ones in this series this is by far the best! It is a high interest activity that children want to participate with. It is great for the preschool to early elementary school aged child, and boys and girls are equally interested in it.
