Simple, basic, working stethoscope for an interested kid. It looks as realistic as a toy stethoscope can get. Looks just as pictured. I'd recommend this for 4 and up. I think a younger child would enjoy the colorful plastic ones. My daughter likes it because it looks real just like her grandfather's.
