I really like the Lakeshore play food sets they're durable, realistic, and my kid has so much fun using them for pretend cooking. The bread pieces especially are a big hit! That being said one of the bread pieces is a little questionable. It honestly looks more like a pile of poo than a baked good. It still holds up well as a toy, but it definitely gets a laugh every time we see it. Overall, a great set for imaginative play, but maybe a redesign of that one bread piece would make it perfect!

Unfortunately the color of the twisted seed bread looks nothing like the photo, instead it’s a dark brown that looks like poop. As you can imagine, that’s not ideal with a small child. Super fun to have my toddler running around the house with the *bread* screaming POOPOO. Even more disappointing- I contacted the business about the issue, pictures included, and they never responded.

If photos were allowed in reviews, I would show you the two pieces of twisted brown bread that look exactly like piles of dog poop. Not sure how no one else has mentioned this.. We use those two pieces as pretend poop instead of keeping them in the bread basket, LOL.

Life sized and perfect for small hands to squeeze and grasp.

This play food is just as life sized as the real thing and is soft snd squishy. My niece and nephew will like play cooking with these. Provides a perfect opportunity to teach them about nutrition and colors.

I have been looking for life size , realistic play food and this is it! I bought both the bread basket and meat/cheese basket and they are great! High quality that I hope lasts for a very long time. Expensive, but even the cheapy plastic food is high and of much lesser quality.
