The projected pictures are crisp, the system is easy to navigate. The speech is clear and easy to understand on the info buttons. My 6 year old grandson who is currently on a space kick loved it!
This is our second Interactive Planetarium that has failed. Other customers have expresses similar issues where the buttons are unresponsive. This one is defective out of the box and is going back for a refund. Thought the first failure after a few months was a fluke. To bad, our seven year old loved this planetarium (at least the first one).

I'm a fanatic about buying Christmas gifts early. I usually start in January and shop for deals throughout the year. I purchased this item and others for our grand kids. All look well made and worth the price. Big fan of more educational type toys in this age of electronics.

I was disappointed with the quality of this product, especially considering the price. There is no volume control and in my opinion the device is way too loud. The images are blurry if you try to project them too large so really you can only see a clear image if you keep it very small. After a few months of use most of the buttons quick working so now only the quiz feature works on ours. It is a great idea, but needs some improvements!

I bought this for Christmas for my 9 year old grandson, but when I tried it out I was very disappointed. The display on the wall is very small and indistinct. The voice when you press the buttons is very harsh and moves too fast for a child to grasp. After each bit of information he orders, "PRESS A BUTTON!" It is very annoying. It is not worth the price, and technology has moved far beyond what this toy offers.

I expected more from this product for the price. To expensive for what it is.

My 7 year old grandson has LOVED this interactive planetarium from the moment he opened it! He is learning so much too without even trying. He loves seeing the planets on his bedroom wall and listening to the fascinating information about them.
This is a Christmas gift for our Space loving 6 year old, so he hasn't gotten it yet, but I have taken it out of the box to check it out. Unlike other planetariums I checked out online, this one is very interactive with a disc to turn, images to focus and a lot of interesting information from the narrator(who has an awesome Captain Picard-ish voice). I think it will be a big hit.
I was a little disappointed in the product. No matter what you do the planets don't completely come into focus. Also, when it's on a planet and you push the "facts" button it only has one fact per planet that it just repeats. On the positive side the voice is really cool and sounds very futuristic. My grandson (7) who is very into planets, only played with it for a few minutes here and there. I think it's really over priced for what it does and the plastic is pretty cheap.

Being only 4, our grandson will benefit more with adult interaction. Yet, definitely, enjoyed projecting celestial objects and listening to facts.
