Pretty hard for my 6 year old to crack these open. I suggest to crack these open outside so the cleanup is easier.

My grandkids were fascinated by the geodes and practiced their hammer skills at the same time. So glad the safety goggles were included. Highly recommend!

I purchased this for my son since he is fascinated with geodes and he wanted a different colored geode other than white. We were very excited to open a blue geode and were quite disappointed when they were all white! The geodes themselves are great, but if you are looking for a color inside that isn’t white then you should look elsewhere.

I had kids from 12 to 24 all gathered around waiting to see what was inside

My six-year-old grandson was so excited when he received this as a gift. He enjoys collecting rocks, so it was perfect. He had fun smashing the geodes to reveal the beautiful crystals inside. The only drawback is they suggest using a chisel which we didn't have so the breaks weren't as clean as they appear on the box.
