We have the Color-Changing Light Cube and the Tap Play Color-Changing Light Center. He played with this once or twice for a couple of minutes and never went back to it again. It costs $100 more than the Tap Play Color-Changing Light Center and my son plays with the Tap and Play every day. It changes colors just like the cube. Both use a remote. Whatever you do, don't lose the remote. It is much easier to charge the Tap and Play. The Tap and Play is basically the same thing except you can't put things on top of it. Both change colors through the remote. You don't have to physically touch either one to make it light up or change the colors. So if all you want is to have something interactive that changes colors, save the $100 and go with the Tap Play Color-Changing Light Center instead.

This light up cube is so much fun! Every age in my daycare can use it. We just change manipulatives for the age using it. Great size for tucking out of the way if not needed but they love this cube. The many colors and features make it even more fun!!!
