Fishing Set

April 25, 2018 - By 4and5from Quincy IL

My kids really enjoy this product. However, after a few (4-5) uses in the sensory bin, the numbers are peeling off of the magnetic back. I wouldn't recommend spending the money on a product that doesn't last.

Good small group game

February 27, 2018 - By KindyTeacherfrom Washington State

This is a great game for small groups. It's easy to use so you could have a parent volunteer or para use it with little or no explanation. I also like that it came with 4 fishing poles and they are high quality and sturdy. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I was hoping that I could use them as magnets on my whiteboard for whole group activities as well, but they only work with the fishing poles.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

My Kids LOVE this activity!

May 13, 2017 - By JODIEMESSINAfrom Reno, NV

This activity is so fun! I teach pre-k and I find it so easy to differentiate with this activity. I printed out subitizing cards and the children will search for the matching numbers- I can change this for numbers 1-5, 5-10, 10-15 and 15-20. This allows me to work in small groups on skill development. I also printed out simple addition equations and children are able to match the answer with equation. It is really engaging for my kids!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Fun number recognition game

February 23, 2012 - By Maestrafrom Madison, WI

The first time that I used this in 4K, the kids had fun exploring it on their own. The second way that I used it, was as a one-to-one correspondence activity. Kids fished for numbers 1-10 only, took the number that they caught to match up to that many dots on a laminated card. I had meant to make die-cut fish on cards just for the theme of fishing, but went the quick way to get this activity ready. The fishing poles seem sturdy & hopefully will last!

Yes, I would recommend this product.
