The USA map puzzle is a great tool to practice identifying states, capitals and characteristics of each state. It is visually appealing and the quality of the material is absolutely amazing. It is definitely a must have for geography or history classes. The children enjoy viewing the images and learning more about the US using this puzzle.

This puzzle is very high quality and my 3 year old loves it! We talk about the different states while we put it together so its great for learning about where we live. As another reviewer stated the smaller states are grouped together so their individual shapes arent as clear, but thats not an issue for us as I just wanted an fun introduction to states.

This puzzle is the best U.S. puzzle I've seen out there. The pieces are nice and sturdy and fit together nicely. We've had it for a few years now and my 7, 5, and 3 year old still play with it all the time.

I am teaching my students social studies, and last week we studied Arizona. I really like how this puzzle lists each capital and state nickname, as this was part of our teaching as well. This wooden puzzle is a hit in my first grade classroom! They use it every day.

My grandsons, ages 7 and 5, love this puzzle. The 5 year old needs a little help with the states in mid country, but is learning. The older boy can do the puzzle and is learning the capital cities and phrases such as The Empire State. He loves to place all the states he's visited. Pieces are chunky and well made, Great learning tool.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My husband wanted me to buy a map and some pins to track all the states as we work our way around the USA on our travels. This is so much better for this purpose. I am glueing on the states as we visit them and can see which ones we have not been to yet. The blank states have the capitol cities underneath so you know which is which.

I was looking for a wooden puzzle of the US for my grandson and of all the ones I researched online, ended up choosing this one from Lakeshore Learning. While I haven't given it to my grandson yet I can tell the quality is excellent. I am pleased with this purchase.

My 4-year-old son was very interested in learning the names of the states, so we ordered this puzzle. It is such nice quality! I love that each state has the capital labeled underneath the piece. I wish there was a separate piece for each state, but I'm sure Rhode Island and some of the other little ones would be too small for that. I also like the gentle colors and illustrations. We have played with this a lot over the last couple of weeks and it has stood up well; I think it will last a long time. Thank you!
