We're really happy with this wood puzzle! My two daughters love trains so this one has been fun for them to work on. It seems well made and I like that it is not too thick and clunky, making it easy for me to store when not in use.

We bought this puzzle (+ the boat the airplane) for great-nephews who will be 3 nearly 3 - as a transition between chunkier puzzles true jigsaw puzzles. They look to us to be perfect - we'll see what the kids think!

Perfect when it’s time to get a puzzle with a little more challenge. Shapes are cut in a logical manner. My grandson and I approve!

I bought this puzzle for my grandson who just turned 2 yrs old. My daughter reported he loves it and enjoying working the puzzle. The quality is very good and perfect for toddlers. (bought the airplane one at the same time, both high quality)

I have a lot of Lakeshore Learning wooden puzzles, I love them! They are such high quality and these types of puzzles are hard to find elsewhere! The pieces are thick and easy to manipulate and I also really like that the image is not printed underneath the puzzle--my students actually have to use their problem solving and spatial reasoning skills to solve this puzzle.

I purchased this puzzle along with the boat and butterfly puzzle for my 2-yr-old son. These puzzles provide the perfect bridge between simpler, single inset puzzles (puzzles where exactly one piece fits in exactly one hole on the puzzle) & more difficult jigsaw puzzles. There is not a duplicate image printed underneath each puzzle piece which increases the difficulty level, but it was exactly the challenge I wanted for my son. He LOVES these puzzles & will sit & do them over & over again. The puzzle pieces are nice & chunky for little hands & are cut smoothly without worries of splinters. The colors are vibrant too...exactly as pictured. I highly recommend this product.
