Our 5 year old grandson loves numbers and is enjoying the addition, subtraction and multiplication machines. His ability to come up with the answer and see the correct answer immediately (upon pushing down the block and having the answer pop up) is a great aspect of these machines. He sits there, comes up with an answer to the equation on the block, and sees the correct answer by pushing the block and releasing it. He is learning basic addition, subtraction and multiplication. He can do it on his own. The fact the blocks do not fall out - they're permanently secure - they simply pop up - is terrific because the blocks aren't all over the place. The only issue is that a few of the blocks have not released easily. They're sort of stuck. Each block should pop up easily when first pushed down and released. There doesn't seem to be a way of adjusting a block that won't pop up. I've attempted to jiggle it a bit. Eventually I can get it to pop up but once pushed down again, it still doesn't easily pop up. Fortunately it's just a few blocks. I'm confident our grandson will continue to play with these educational machines, enjoying and learning at the same time.

This went over like a lead balloon at Christmas time. It was for my granddaughter age 5 and maybe later she will come back to it but she wasn't impressed.

Some of the pop up squares get stuck and need many try's to make them pop up to reveal the answer.

I think these buttons have been pushed 10000 times, its well made, sturdy and im glad I bought it.

the clicking mechanism is pretty good and should hold up ti a lot of use. My kids have had a lot of fun playing with this tool, even without focusing on the math to be learned.

Excellent concept and kids love it. It's great for visualizing how addition works. I do wish the numbers were printed on, rather than stuck on with stickers, though. Some of the stickers are eroding after light use.

Spent a lint time playing with this with our 5 year old granddaughter yesterday, she loves it.

My kids love this addition machine! It is very well made, and worth every penny to build up early math confidence!
