Good product and price
I lead school tours for grades K through 5 at an art museum and frequently teach the elements of art. These paddles are a nice size for smaller hands to manipulate. I prefer to have the kids do hands-on color-mixing so use only the three primary-colored paddles. Not sure why they have one secondary-colored paddle (green) in the set, but I leave those at home.

Great tool for learning about color mixing !
The Y/R/B paddles show mixed colors very well, both when placed on a white surface or being held up to the light. Colored 'shadows' have an interesting mottled appearance. They're also the right size for little hands. Our preschooler enjoys looking through them while we're out in the car, and just that is a good learning opportunity.
There are 12 sets in the pack and so we kept a couple and gave the rest to the local daycare center/preschool.
The only 'con' is that they scratch very easily and are very thin - so they may not last too long if repeatedly dropped onto a hard floor (and then stepped on!). On the other hand, the scratches just add interesting texture to the colored shadows....

Good assisted learning
These panels look great, they are fairly sturdy, easy to hold up to flashlights (lightweight), and small enough to store easily.
They appear to be connected in the picture but that is not accurate- they are all loose (small and loose makes them easy to lose).
The blue is not very strong so it does not work as well as we would like for combining (stays red when paired for purple...)

easy to use and store
I bought these to use in my practice as a speech-language pathologist and I also use them with my own toddler and preschooler. I like that you get several sets and can make many color combinations. I also like that they don't take up much storage space as some of the others I've seen. My one negative is that I have had several crack. They haven't broken completely and are still safe to touch but they do have visible cracks in the middle.
