My students love this as a listening center

When they work, the headphones are great! I love that my students can walk about the room while listening to songs or an audio book. It's too bad they don't have an automatic power off button or are chargeable instead of taking batteries. If left on, the batteries die very quickly and we have to change them a lot! Also, it sometimes takes the transmitter a long time before it detects the wireless headphones.

Easy to use and no problems with the headphones not working. I use other devices in the classroom and the headphones don't pick up the music/activity from them. Also the headphone size is great for my Prekindergarten (4 yrs old) students.

I was so excited to get these from Donors Choose for my classroom, however they have been a huge hassle. Not only does it pick up my the teacher next door story but it also constantly cuts in and out for the kids. I have tried so many things such as changing transmitter station, moving to different spots in classroom, away from windows, next to windows, brand new batteries etc. Lakeshore even replaced my transmitter and 6 headphones yet it continues to happen. So frustrating

These work well with exception of my students can hear the 2 other classroom's listening center stories on our headphones, even when I change the transmitter stations. When other classrooms aren't using theirs, mine works fine! I also purchased 2 sets for my own classroom to use at the same time at different Centers. Unfortunately, even on different transmitter stations, the story from one listening Center overpowers the other listening Center across the room.

The students in my classroom love to use Listening Lab as one of our core centers!
