My husband is a drummer and wanted to give our 1 yr old grandson his first set of drums. He is very picky about the sound, and these sounded better than he expected. He just wished there was some kind of little stand so the sound wouldn't be muffled by what it was sitting on. Even very short legs would help, but...my grandson is just 1., He probably will just bang with his hands for now--one of his favorite things to do. (This won't be the only set he gets if my husband has his way.) The quality is outstanding.

This set of four brightly colored drums are great for PreK-elementary age students. They are durable and produce a loud noise when hit with the mallet that are included with the set. They would be perfect if there was a handle on the drum so the child can hold it and not hit their fingers when playing.

my young kids have a hard time with them but the older kids would be best for this

These drums are awesome. The toddlers in my child care program love them. They make a great sound...and seem to be indestructible. (so far).

These drums are a great addition to my music center. Nice size for little hands. Only thing is it would’ve been better if it had 2 sticks for each drum. Otherwise it is an amazing product. The sound is bold. I didn’t expect it to sound so much like a real drum. The children love them.

We don't leave these out, but get them out for playgroups. Even little hands can pound, pound, pound and make a significant sound.
