I purchased this in order to have students access grade level texts through a listening center. Some of my students are below grade level in their reading and this listening center allows them to access challenging texts independently/in small groups. Absolutely love this product!

works great! you have to have the headphones which can be pricy. I like how each student can adjust their own sounds

I bought these last year and still haven't used it, the headphones that I have don't fit the junction box. I would say they have a poor description and need to let customers know what type of fitting for the headphones that you need. I gave it 3 stars as I am sure it works great but they need to update the description.

We did not look at the actual hook ups so our assumption that you could use any headphones with it was in correct. Even after we got adapters for our headphones the sound only comes out of one side. We understand the mistake was ours but do not want anyone else to make the same mistake. Thanks

This is perfect for multiple kids to listen! I highly recommend purchasing the lakeshore headphones to go with!

I like this box eithout the controls as it is one less thing for me to manage. I know if the player has the right volume then so do the kids.

This was a replacement and the children and enjoying the use of the headphones.

This audio jack is so kid friendly! I have this at my listening station and once my students learned how to adjust the volume they never needed my help again. The kids really understand how to use this that I purchased 2 more to use for my classroom computers because I had extra blue lakeshore headphones left over. It is easier for students to adjust the speaker volume from the junction box than the computer. They last a really long time. It took 5 years before I had to replace one.

The product itself is fantastic and highly useful in my listening center. However, when I ordered it online, the description does not mention anywhere that a plug adapter is required if you have headphones from outside of the Lakeshore company. If you have 3.5mm (1/8") headphone plugs (the standard size among headphones) then you will need to purchase a 6.3mm (1/4") adapter for all 8 headphones to even use this product.

Think how cool it would be for all your children to be able to listen to their favorite music at their own volume. The children can use this device to control their own volume for whatever they are listening. The teachers love this device and so does the children. Great device to have in every music center.

The durability is fantastic. Students are able to manuver the control knobs independently. Perfect for all ages!
