Fun for all

These were a hit with toddlers, preschoolers, and even older siblings. They screw on or you can let them spin on and off. I chose this set over counting and patterns simply because I needed the most base screws for sharing among students.

The children love when we have this out. We have several different sets, but the color set can be used for different ages and stages. It also covers science and math skills.

Great open ended toy

These are great for learning colors, counting, and pattern forming. They're easy to manipulate as well. So far it's a win.

Fun work task!

I use these nuts and bolts as a color sort and fine motor. I work in a special needs classroom and my behavior techs and I rotate which hand the student/s uses to place the nut on the bolt. This supports their skill ability with non-dominant hand as well dominant. At times we hand to them to cross midline Super fun to watch them spineven the adults love them!

Perfect !

These are a staple in my room. For my students working on sorting and color identification, I can pull a couple colors for them. It also works for students workkng on attention to tasks, as they can simple put a color on and get immediate visual and sensory feedback from watching the nuts spin

Motivating color sorting activity

I teach special needs pre-schoolers, and this is a motivating activity to teach colors and color sorting. Students can be given 2 or more colors at a time dependent on ability level. Many students enjoy this activity, so they remain engaged for longer periods.
