I originally bought these to incorporate into our Simple Machines Study. The students love them. We use them for motor skills, patterns, and and sorting colors as well. Many of the students with autism really enjoy sliding the nuts on and then off of the bolts. They are also calmed by them and allow students to sit for longer periods of time as a sensory item. I have enede up using these throughout the year rather than just for our Simple Machines Study.

My class loves this activity. They really like to turn them upside-down and watch them spin off. I like this set because you can also use it for counting sets, more/less, and adding/subtracting along with patterns. This way we can use them through out the school year as our math activities progress.

Perfect for my in home child care with infants-kindergarten in care! All ages 15 months - 6 years old could use this in different ways. I will be purchasing the other sets as well!

They are fun to play with, patterning is still a hard concept for my preschoolers but all in all they still enjoy using them and I can model for them using my own.

My 4 year old absolutely loves this toy! The parts are easy for him to manipulate and the various colors make things extra fun. He works on organizing the colors in different patterns. This toy is perfect for both learning and independent play.

I love doing this with my grandchildren. We stack, we dump, we pattern. We have a great time and think this is a quality product that can keep toddlers entertained for quite a long time.

My kids ages 2-7 all love this toy! Its great quality, and they are fascinated by the way they spin around. They create pattern after pattern, and they work together! But theres also enough for them each to work separately if theyd rather. So many ways to use this toy. Great suggestion from @busytoddler :)

My almost 5 and 2 year old sons love this toy! I find them choosing to play with it quite often. Highly recommend!
