I teach prek 3's. They loves these. They are bigger then you would expect but still perfect for little hands. They love watching the colorful pieces easily spin down onto the bolts.

The children in our 3-year-old class are nuts (pun intended) about this toy and so are the adults. It can be used for counting and patterning but the physical action of the bolts spinning off and on have been most compelling.
