Great for matching, counting and shape recognition. It has been the perfect addition to our Toy Lending Library and is chunky enough for small fingers.

I use these during spring. I asked them to look for the corresponding ladybug at the yard.

The Ladybug Number Match was very popular at the start of our open play library class. Each child wanted a turn in counting the dots on each ladybug. Parents were also interested to now where they can purchase this educational toy. I think this will be a popular toy before our library class begins. My students enjoy playing with these Ladybugs! This activity is a highly preferred counting and shape matching activity. The dots are large enough and have good spacing to count. Very happy with this product.

These Ladybugs were a huge hit in our house. We purchased this item before our son turned three and he was able to easily manipulate the bugs and explore them. As our son has gotten older (now 3) we can not only use them to count but we can discuss the variety of shapes underneath the bugs and match them that way.

We are very happy with the ladybugs. All my grandchildren enjoy playing with them. I bought the first set for my west coast grandchildren a few years ago. When I saw that they were still playing with the ladybugs, I decided to buy them for my east coast grandchildren who are now ages 3 and 5. They enjoy counting the dots on the ladybugs and match them to the appropriate leaf. We have so much fun playing with our toys from Lakeshore Learning!

My just turned three-year-old loves these. The dots are large and arranged in a way that she can easily count one leaf and then the other. In other words, the dots are jumbled enough to require concentration but not so much that it leads to frustration. She is better at counting than she is at number recognition so the self-correcting aspect of this has helped her remember what the numbers look like. She likes ladybugs so they are fun to pull out. The information card has ideas for more advanced use, I.e. sequencing. Small box-easy storage.

This activity is a real hit in my classroom Pre - K ages and they all couldn't wait to try it. Love the math concept and the control of error with the shapes inside. A really great and inexpensive product for your class.
