I bought this for spring. I was hoping for the flowers to be bigger. I enjoyed that the flowers have small stems that I can use on soft foam and children can pretend they are digging them in the ground. Having said this, it would be cute if Lakeshore comes up with small planters with holes on the soil where flowers can be put in (almost like the cake candle counters! Please bring that back!). For these number cards, possibly flatter looking flowers would be best.

This is one of my favorite items I've picked up for my kindergarten classroom. The kids just love the pretty flowers and its so easy to just quickly pull off the shelf and have students know what to do without any instructions. The box is pretty sturdy too which has helped it stay in good shape even after several years in the classroom.
