Great addition for counting links!
easy to link
counting activity was fun with these links
Fun for Counting
I used this as part of my lessons for special needs kindergarteners during distance learning. It kept their attention and was great for teaching number sense.
These are great for counting, patterning, and sorting. The kids loved the keys! I would have given it 5 stars if they would have came with number discs that hooked on to each ring so the kids could create sets independently and I could check their work once they were finished. I just made my own number discs. I still highly recommend!
These are an awesome tactile and visual tool for preschoolers who are learning how to count, identify numbers and building fine motor skills. I also use them with my students for other concepts, like color sorting and measuring.
links
great for hands on counting, very colorful
A bit hard to take unlink but great item
I bought this for my kindergartener and he really enjoyed using them until he tried to unlink them. That was a bit hard for him. I really like the idea of this item but once my son got frustrated because either he could not unlink them or they would flick all over the room we pretty much gave up. I bought the linking cubes so all was well. I gave it to a friend and hope her daughter gets more use out of it than my kiddo.

Not just good for counting!
We begin by just getting the elephants in a line and ordering them. Later, we add the links. We put elephants together to add in a very hands-on activity during center time. They are of good quality- Typical for Lakeshore!
Love count and link
this product has been so helpful for my daughter she is doing great on her math skills
Good for free play too!
I've found that these get more use for creative/dramatic play than they do for math practice! The links are fun for forts, gates, clotheslines, and all sorts of stuff when you let kids loose with them! They also work well for homeschoolers using the workbox system, as you can choose whatever elephants are at your child's level, have them count and link, and then verify their work when they're through. Simple and easy.
So simple, but so fun!
My students love counting the links and adding them to the elephants. They get so excited!
count and link
the count and link elephants are fun for kids to use to practice not only counting but also their fine motor skills by hooking the links together. We also practice patterns and adding/subtracting. I love that one activity can be put to many uses.
