Very user friendly. Great for independent practice/review.

This book is great when I have a sub and need an extra warm up exercise or daily morning work. The book is well organized and handy.

This journal is really excellent for review or for those students who may need less clutter and a smaller, less intimidating math program. While it seems light, the jumping off points it provides are solid, so with supplementing it can easily be the spine for a good math program.

I plan to use this as a warm up for the mornings. I moved from 3rd grade to 4th grade. Since the year was cut short this past school year I will incorporate the problems in this book and the 3rd grade version. I like the problems in these books.

I teach 3rd grade but have a few students that could use the math challenge. I use the Math Practice Journal and it is fantastic! It covers all the standards, breaks things down by days and weeks. My kids love using them and love the challenge. Usually the higher leveled kids get left behind but this was the perfect way to make sure my kids aren't bored and all of my students like the extra challenge.
