Used these as a center to build tangrams. Very sturdy and bright colors help to find easily on the tan floor.
The students enjoy using these manipulatives for identifying shapes and creating their own visual art to write stories about them.
I love using these for tangrams pictures that I have or just as a math center for free creation! My kindergartners love them!!
These pieces are much much larger than I expected, and it is a very thin plastic. the colors are bright and bold, and the surface and edges are very smooth. I just worry that they are too thin for repeated, but we’ll see!
The children enjoy using these! Promotes fine motor skills and so many activities that they can be used for.

Everything and more than I expected! Sturdy, colorful pieces to be used with several students, or just a couple. I specifically purchased these to send to my 3 great nephews and for a granddaughter of one of my best friends. I know they will thrilled. Wish I was still a kid! :-)

I use tangrams as one of the "pattern recognition" assessment criteria for the MYP 5 diploma in the International Baccalaureate Middle years mathematics program (Grades 6-10). I have been astonished at the skill these young people have in reproducing the tangram shapes. In addition, they really like the break from the traditional "drill and kill" method of teaching mathematics. Tangrams combines tactical, visual, and pattern-recognition skills in one activity, and is a great activity for students at all levels.

These geometric shapes are great for children and adults to use the creative side of their brains!
