Perfect for Hands On Learning and Incentive
May 09, 2025 - By Megan
I use these coins with my students as an incentive. Each time they complete work, they earn a money amount and must earn a certain amount by the end of the week to earn Fun Friday time. The individual student will count up how much money he/ she has each day. It’s a way for me to have an incentive along with incorporating the concept of money
Yes, I would recommend this product.

My kids loved playing and interacting with these! They were large and easier to memorize the different features of the coins then regular money.

I use for whole group
July 10, 2022 - By Monica Garcia
what I really like about these magnetic coin manipulatives is that I can use them while I am teaching a whole group. My kids can get up and move them around and it helps them make that connection when I am teaching them how much they cost, what they look like, and counting them when they are mixed up. In addition, I like to use these as a center so that my students can review them and become masters at counting coins. They stick very well and I have had them for many years.
Yes, I would recommend this product.

Just a little too small!
May 06, 2020 - By Too Small!from Florida
I was planning on using the coins to help teach money on the board. For the cost of $9.99 plus $5 shipping since the stores werent open yet, I was surprised when I saw how small they were! They should cost around $5-6. In the classroom setting, Im afraid my students will not be able to see them on the whiteboard. Even in a small group setting, not sure. I wish they were a little bigger in size. I was thinking of using them if we continue to teach distance learning in the Fall, but still too small to use.

Much smaller than they appear. Hard to see from white board. They are not hard plastic, more like a coated magnetic sheet.
