Love this product! I had it in my previous school and my three year olds loved to compose new shapes with them. So not only is this good for creating random pictures but you will see them putting 4 quarters together to create a circle, 2 halves to create a circle - fractions for three year olds. I also love that this set just focuses on the 4 basic shapes without all the others as that is our primary focus. They will be able to put triangles together to create bigger triangles or squares. 4 small squares will create a larger square and so on.

These shapes are very sturdy and easy to manipulate on the magnet board. The daycare kids make fantastic designs. There are a lot of shapes! I am very happy with this purchase.

These magnets are thick and strong. The kids are enjoying creating pictures with them and I love using them for lessons on shapes and sorting. A good purchase.

I ordered these to go with the stand-up magnetic board I just ordered. My PPCD students love to play with magnets! I was a little disappointed that there were only squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, 1/2 and 1/4 circles. No ovals or rhombi (plural of rhombus?). Those shapes being added would have made this set perfect!
