There are some small pieces and the magnets are thin.

These have been great so far for my tutoring business. I am currently helping a third grade with equivalent fractions and these have been great at helping her see a visual. I wish they were a little bigger, but other than that, I love them.

These little magnets really help my girl visualize fractions, especially when it comes to determining equivalents, less than, and greater than. My only complaint is that they're just hard to manage at times because they all want to stick to each other.

I am so excited to use these amazing manipulatives. I know they are going to be so helpful for my visual learns.

I LOVE this fraction product. It works wonderfully with grades 3-6 and the magnets are strong and durable. I like that they are double sided and incorporate both fractions and decimals. When we are not using them in small group or during lesson, I put them across my white board as a visual reminder for my students. One of my best purchases by far.

Twice a week we me with Hispanic children to tutor them. We have K thru 5 and math is difficult for most of our students. Building Fractions is a well built teaching program that gives all the information in one package. It is a logical approach that works both visually and tactically.

I have used this more than I thought I would. It comes in two forms: circles and rectangles. The front has the fractions while the back shows the percentage and decimal numbers. I like that it comes with its own magnetic board. I have used this many times when my child helps me cook. It is a great visual tool that allows the child to see and touch it. This was beyond helpful when I was teaching my child that fractions get smaller even though the number appears to be greater.
