Hands in learning

So happy for these manipulatives. My students enjoy working with them. It’s another way to reinforce place value.

Great Materials, HORRIBLE plastic bags

I've had this product for less than a week with my 3rd grade classroom. My students and I have pulled off 5 zippers from the bags. Personally the bags are not tall enough to fit everything back in them perfectly. I purchased quart sized, zipper bags for the ones that broke (less than 24 hours of having them). Because of the poor design of the individual bags I gave this item 3-stars instead of 5-stars. The manipulatives themselves are great for teaching subtraction with regrouping. I love them for that. I also recommend writing with a permanent marker a number on all the pieces to correspond with a bag so if you find a piece on the floor you know where it goes quickly. Shipping was quite expensive to (over $10) and this product isn't carried in stores.
