Perfect Family Night Take Home Activity

April 22, 2019 - By S. Tindellfrom Pensacola, Fl.

We selected the Discovery Cans as a family night take home activity. Many of our teachers use these resources in the classroom and reported how helpful they were. Families and students were excited about taking a can home and also being able to select from a wide variety, based on academic needs.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Our TK students loved this!

Despite the other reviews, our students really enjoyed this game. I do think it is best for about 4 year old children, and it is definitely a small group (2-3 person) activity. But they liked this and did an awesome job taking turns!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

great for a pair of kids

I brought this into our K-1 camp group with the intentions of using it with groups of 4-5 students. The students enjoyed the activities and it provided an opportunity for the first graders to lead and provide some guidance for the kindergarten campers. The downside of this product is that it is not user friendly for more than 2 children.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Addition and Subtraction to 20

May 25, 2017 - By Powerfrom Idaho

This math game says it is for grades K-1 but I think it is more for the end of 1st grade/ 2nd grade. My younger children could not grasp the math concepts. It is also a game for a group of 2-3 and would be much harder to use for a class setting.

Don't waste your money..

I have purchased A LOT of products from Lakeshore...and this is by far the WORST I have ever gotten. It's not user friendly, there are not enough "cards" per topic...its just not a good situation all the way around.
